• Chronic/Acute Renal failure
• Arterial line management
• PICC line management
• Starting and maintaining IVs
• Continuous IV sedation
• Emergency Medications
• Titrating Cardiac and Vasoactive drips
• CVA/Acute Stroke management
• Auxiliary care of ventilated patients
• Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Respiratory failure, Suctioning (ETT, NT)
• Ventilator Management
• Infection Prevention
• Isolation Precautions/Use of PPE
• Phlebotomy
• Surgical Wounds with drains/Wound Vac
• Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)
• Neuro Intensive Care Unit
• Trauma Intensive Care Unit
• Hyperbaric ICU
• eICU (Electronic Intensive Care Unit)
• Titrating IV paralytics/Neuromuscular blockade
• Fresh tracheostomy
• Pulmonary edema
• Embolism
• Thermoregulation: hypothermia/hyperthermia
• Accessing/Managing Ports

Licensure

• MO license or compact license; IL license required at time of submittal.
• Compact must match permanent residence.

Radii

• No locals accepted within 75 miles.

Special Equipment

• IV pumps/titration
• CRRT/dialysis
• Ventilator/BIPAP
• hemodynamic/invasive monitoring
• Defibrillator/crash cart

Additional Unit Information

• Strong cardiac knowledge required.
