Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,835 per week

An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Nurse position is available in the area, offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced critical care environment. The role involves providing comprehensive care to patients requiring advanced interventions, with a focus on cardiovascular and surgical cases. The ideal candidate will be experienced in critical care settings, with specific expertise in cardiothoracic surgery and device management.

Responsibilities

Position Description: 48 hours per week, with a 12-hour night shift schedule, every other weekend, including holiday coverage during the winter holidays. The role requires the ability to float between intensive care units and intermediate care units.

Requirements

• Valid BLS (Basic Life Support) - American Heart Association certification
• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - American Heart Association certification
• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Cardiothoracic surgery experience
• Familiarity with devices such as IABP and IMPELLA
• EPIC electronic medical record system proficiency
• Must be separated from the healthcare provider for at least 6 months

Qualifications

Experience with critical care devices and skills in managing complex cardiac cases is highly desirable.

Schedule
