Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,565 per week

Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in a small community hospital located in Stayton, Oregon. This role involves providing high-quality care to diverse critically ill patients, including those with complex diagnoses such as sepsis, diabetic ketoacidosis, hypoxemia, and COVID-19. The position requires adaptability and the ability to function confidently within resource-limited settings, supporting a cohesive healthcare team in delivering optimal patient outcomes.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights, 12-hour shifts
• 36 hours per week
• Duration: 13 weeks
• Start Date: 08/03/2026

Required Qualifications

• Valid licensure as a registered nurse
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
• NIHSS (National Institute of Health Stroke Scale) certification
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• Experience with managing titratable intravenous drips

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with titratable medications such as Propofol, Levophen, Dobutamine, Precedex, Fentanyl, Insulin, Esmolol, Versed, Ketamine, or similar

Unit & Facility Details

• 4-bed ICU unit
• Nurse-to-patient ratio: 1:2
• Support staff: RTs (Respiratory Therapists) available 24/7 for treatments; monitor techs capable of reading and interpreting tele strips
• Charge nurse oversees multiple units but maintains minimal patient assignments
• Floating to IMCU (Intermediate Care Unit) or MS (Medical/Surgical) may be required; float to ED possible for those with prior emergency department experience
• Team-oriented approach
• EPIC charting system
• No BSN (Bachelor of Science in Nursing) license submission is required
