About the role
The position is for a Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU) Registered Nurse (RN).
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in the MICU setting.
- Assess and document patient conditions and progress.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain sterile environments and follow infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement care plans.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current license to practice as a registered nurse in Washington State.
- Current BLS certification from an American Heart Association-approved course.
- Experience in MICU preferred but not required.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills.
Skills
- Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR).
- Knowledge of critical care procedures and equipment.
