Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,508 per week

About the role

The Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive patient care in the ICU and Emergency Room, utilizing the nursing process and ensuring adherence to safety guidelines and hospital policy.

Responsibilities

• Collect data relevant to the patient’s condition and report critical values to the physician in a timely manner.
• Assess appropriate lab and diagnostic data.
• Document findings of physical assessment and identify abnormal findings.
• Develop a plan of care based on patient needs.
• Advocate on behalf of the patient and their families.
• Perform interventions according to patient need and hospital policy.
• Evaluate patient outcomes in relation to goals.
• Float to various units as needed including ICU, CCU, or ED.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing.
• CURRENT Licensure to practice in New York State.
• CURRENT BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, Moderate Sedation, and NIHSS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU and Emergency Room experience.
• RECENT critical care and emergency department experience.

Pay

The Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
