Certification Details
- BLS (Must be AHA)
- ACLS (Must be AHA)
- 13 week contract & holiday commitment required for elevated rate
- Must have current nursing license with Nursys verification within 30 days prior to start
- Completion of Ascension Specialty Exam prior to first assignment and updated every 3 years thereafter with minimum 80% passing score
- Completion of Ascension Core Competencies within a year of start and updated every 3 years with minimum 80% passing score
- Completion of Ascension EKG Exam with passing score of at least 80%
- Completion of Ascension Skills Checklist within one year of start and updated annually for specialty
- Documentation of required immunizations and health screenings including MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap, Fit Test, 2 Step PPD or IGRA, Health Statement, and Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen
- Completion of Ascension Cerner Test-Out and other onboarding requirements
- Must complete CPI/MOAB High Risk Online Portion prior to start and on-site portion at orientation
- Must provide professional references and pass background checks including criminal background, EPLS, and employment verification
- Shift: 07:00 - 19:30
- Ascension Unit Specific Checklist optional for onboarding, to be uploaded by Ascension unit leader within a week
- Ascension Resume required for submission
- Signed Assignment Agreement required for onboarding
- Ascension Badge Photo required for onboarding
- Ascension Onboarding Requirements Education Attestation required for onboarding
- Ascension Nursing Contract Worker Onboarding done onsite
- Ascension Nova StatStrip pre-hire modules required prior to clearance
- Ascension Profile and 2 Professional References required for submission
- Ascension Criminal Background Check Results and EPLS run within 90 days of start and updated annually
- Ascension Education Verification within 90 days of start
- Ascension Confirmation of Assignment and Employment Verification required for onboarding
