Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse in en_US The organization seeks experienced ICU nurses to provide high-quality care in a 30-bed medical-surgical and progressive care unit. The position involves managing complex patient cases including respiratory support, intravenous medications, and cardiac monitoring, with a focus on safe patient outcomes and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
• Complete unit-specific orientation
• Adhere to dress code of navy blue scrubs
• Manage respiratory support devices such as BiPAP, CPAP, Heated High Flow, and oxygen titration
• Provide moderate sedation and telemetry monitoring
• Participate in orientation program including competency validation, online modules, and shift onboarding at the LEAD center
• Accept float rotation as required
• Manage complex patient cases including respiratory support, intravenous medications, and cardiac monitoring
• Focus on safe patient outcomes and critical thinking

Requirements

• Current RN license in South Dakota or a compact state
• ACLS (AHA) certification
• BLS (AHA) certification
• Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in ICU or Medical‑Surgical setting
• Must be licensed to work in the assignment location (eligible to submit)
