Seeking a Registered Nurse for the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) specializing in MICU/Oncology. This travel nursing job is located in Columbus, Ohio, with a start date of 10/05/2026 and a duration of 13 weeks.

Shift Information

• Night 3x12-Hour (19:00 - 07:30)
• 36 hours per week
• Position may require rotating between day and night shifts based on department needs

Patient Population

Adults and Geriatrics. Common patient diagnoses include:

• Oncologic Emergencies
• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD)
• Pneumonia
• Adult Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS)
• Gastrointestinal Bleed
• Neuromuscular Disease
• Drug Overdose
• Consequences of Oncologic Treatment
• Pulmonary Hypertension
• Autoimmune Disorders
• Sepsis

Unit Details & Special Procedures

This unit manages a range of hemodynamically compromised patients. Common treatments and procedures include:

• Mechanical Ventilation
• Pulmonary Artery Catheter Placement
• Continuous Renal Replacement Therapy (CRRT)
• Arterial Pressure Monitoring
• Cardiac Monitoring
• Chest Tubes
• Central Venous Catheters
• Chemotherapy Administration
• Complex Medication Regimens
• Clinical Trials
• Plasmapheresis
• Bronchoscopy and Endoscopy for patients with underlying pulmonary and gastrointestinal conditions

Required Certifications

• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
• BLS Certification
• National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Essential Skills

• Ventilator Management
• IV Starts
• Computerized Charting
• Experience with EPIC Electronic Health Record system
