Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,235 per week

Job Summary

A Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) is needed in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This position involves caring for critically ill patients within a mixed acuity environment, including ICU and progressive care patients. Required Qualifications

• Valid Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1.5 years ICU experience (2 years preferred)
• ACLS (American Heart Association) certification
• BLS (American Heart Association) certification
• Ability to work scheduled shifts

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 critical care facilities
• Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records
• Prior float experience to ICU, progressive units, and Medsurg

Additional Information

• The unit features 24 beds in the Medical Intensive Care Unit and 12 beds in the Progressive Care Unit.
• The nurse-to-patient ratio is 1:2 or 1:3 in ICU and 1:3 or 1:4 in progressive care, with occasional transfers.
• The environment requires flexibility, critical thinking, and team-oriented skills.
• Orientation includes one day of onboarding and review of policies, including EPIC training.
