Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,235 per week

Job Summary

The Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse position is available in Fort Wayne, Indiana. This vital role involves providing critical patient care within a mixed acuity unit, caring for ventilated patients, and managing various ICU and progressive care patients. The incumbent will collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a dynamic environment.

Schedule

• Three 12-hour shifts per week
• Starting on 07/27/2026
• Traditional weekday plus weekend rotation

Required Qualifications

• Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license
• ACLS (American Heart Association)
• BLS (American Heart Association)
• Minimum of 2 years ICU experience
• At least 1.5 years of ICU experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in Level 1 or Level 2 facilities
• Travel experience preferred
• Ability to float across ICU, Progressive Care, and Medsurg units
• Maximum ratio of 1:3

Position Details

• Maintains a 1:3 or 1:4 patient ratio on the progressive side
• Maintains a 1:2 or 1:3 patient ratio on ICU

• Epic electronic medical records
• Pyxis medication system
• EKG machine
• dopplers

Additional Information

• Onboarding includes policy review and Epic training
• One-day unit orientation
• Flexibility and critical thinking skills are essential for success in this role
