About the role
HealthTrust Workforce Solutions HCA is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing job in Wichita, Kansas.
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in the Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- Assess and document patient conditions accurately.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Maintain a sterile environment to prevent infections.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes promptly.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments in the medical record.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN).
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Kansas.
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Experience in MICU preferred.
