• 12 Beds (6 CCU / 6 PCU)

Must Have

• 2+ years CCU/ICU/PCU experience (preferred)
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Experience with titratable drips and telemetry interpretation
• Patient Population: Sepsis, Respiratory Distress, DKA, Overdose, ETOH Withdrawal

Unit Details

• Ratios: CCU 1:2 | PCU 1:3–4
• Titrates Levophed, Insulin, Dopamine, Heparin
• Vents, CPAP, BiPAP, Oximizer
• RNs read telemetry strips
• Charge RN every shift; House Supervisor nights/weekends

Schedule

• 12-hour shifts (6:00–6:30)
• Self-scheduling (6-week schedule)
• 4 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
• 1 major & 1 minor holiday if applicable

Floating

• Med Surg if needed
• ER only if experienced
