Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,195 per week

VyTalent Solutions is seeking a travel nurse for an ICU - Intensive Care Unit position in Franklin, Indiana.

About the Role

This is a travel nursing opportunity at a hospital. The contract length is 13 weeks with 36 hours per week, 12-hour shifts. Both local and traveler candidates are welcome.

Responsibilities

• Manage patient care for a combined CCU and PCU unit with 12 beds (6 CCU and 6 PCU).
• Monitor and titrate drips such as Levophed, insulin, dopamine, and heparin.
• Read and interpret strips, operate ventilators, CPAP, BiPAP, and oximizers.
• Collaborate with charge nurses and house supervisors to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Provide care for patients with diagnoses including sepsis, respiratory distress, OD/ETOH withdrawal, and DKA.
• Supervise and support nursing aides on the unit.
• Follow unit-specific protocols, including general orientation followed by unit-specific training.
• Respond to call or standby duties as needed, including on-call responsibilities if required.
• Float to Medsurg or ER units if needed and experienced.
• Adhere to dress code of navy blue scrubs and maintain clinical standards.

Pay

Pay range: $54.27 - $56.98 per hour. Pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
