Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,189 per week

ARMStaffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) position in Rochester, New York. This is a 13‑week travel assignment starting 10/12/2026, requiring 36 hours per week (12‑hour shifts) with flexible scheduling. The role is in a Neuro Medicine ICU, a 12‑bed unit caring for critically ill patients with traumatic brain injuries, aneurysms, status epilepticus, strokes, and other neurological conditions.

Responsibilities

• Provide high‑quality, specialized care to critically ill neuro patients.
• Utilize strong critical thinking and communication skills in managing complex patient needs.
• Coordinate care during high‑pressure situations and emergencies.
• Maintain current knowledge and skills related to critical care nursing.
• Monitor telemetry data and intervene as necessary based on patient acuity.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in New York.
• Minimum of two (2) years of experience as a Registered Nurse in an ICU acute care setting.
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (American Heart Association).
• Telemetry experience is mandatory.
• NIHSS certification is required.

Schedule

• 3×12‑hour shift rotation covering day, evening, and night shifts.
