About the role
Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment in Kennewick, Washington.
Responsibilities
- Provide care in a medical intensive care unit setting
- Assist with patient monitoring and treatment
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as necessary
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN)
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Washington
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in an acute care setting preferred
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong physical stamina and ability to lift patients
Skills
- Proficient in medical intensive care unit protocols
- Skilled in patient assessment and documentation
- Knowledgeable in pharmacology and medication administration
