Job Overview
We're seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse for a 13-week travel assignment in Hazard, Kentucky. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced critical care environment with a 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio while providing exceptional patient care.
Position Highlights
- 1:2 nurse-to-patient ratio
- Meditech EMR
- Night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
- Float within scope of practice as needed
- Every other weekend required
- Schedule alternates between 3 shifts one week and 4 shifts the next (84 hours every two weeks)
- Block scheduling is not available
- Up to 7 days of requested time off may be considered if submitted before the offer
- Travelers must be available to work either a major or minor holiday if scheduled
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience
- Active Kentucky RN License or Compact RN License
- AHA BLS Certification
- AHA ACLS Certification
- NIHSS Certification
- Experience with Meditech EMR preferred
- Must reside 75+ miles from the facility (local candidates are not accepted)
- Two professional references required (one Charge RN or higher and one Supervisor, both within the last year)
- Valid driver’s license, active RN license, and required certifications must be submitted with your application
