About the role
Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) for the Intensive Care Unit in Indianapolis, IN. This role involves providing specialized nursing care to critically ill patients within the cardiac critical care setting. The nurse will deliver evidence-based care, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
- Monitor patient conditions and deliver evidence-based care
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes
- Care for patients requiring ventilator management and hemodynamic monitoring
- Float to other critical care areas as required
- Complete education modules prior to the first shift if required
Requirements
- Valid RN license
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification
- 1 year of experience in a critical care setting
- Ability to work night shifts (1900-0730 / 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.)
- Minimum of 36 hours per week
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in a cardiac critical care unit
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification
- ENPC (Emergency Nursing Pediatric Course) certification
Schedule
- Nights shift: 1900-0730 (7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m.)
- 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week
