Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,103 per week

About the role

The ICU Registered Nurse will provide comprehensive care to patients in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), addressing their critical needs and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The nurse will demonstrate a commitment to patient safety, dignity, and respect while ensuring high-quality care delivery.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to ICU patients.
• Monitor vital signs and respond to changes in patient condition.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to assess patient needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety and health protocols.

Requirements

• Currently licensed by NYS as a Registered Professional Nurse.
• Current BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications through the RQI system required.
• Basic Coronary Care certification within 6 months of hire.
• CPI certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Experience in handling confidential information and maintaining professionalism.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
• Current CPR certification.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Knowledge of ICU procedures and protocols.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with tax-free stipend amount to be determined.

Schedule

Schedule Shifts include 7a-7p or 7p-7a, working three 12-hour shifts per week.
