Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $2,100 per week

About the role

Intensive Care Unit (ICU) registered nurse position in a highly collaborative and dynamic acute care environment. The role involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients on a combination unit that includes ICU and progressive care unit (PCU) patients. Start Date: 10/12/2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Employment Type: Travel. Specialty: ICU. Discipline: RN.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and support ventilated patients
• Manage ventilators
• Perform specimen collection
• Implement daily patient care activities (vital signs, Foley care, bathing, IV pulls, bladder scans)
• Collaborate with hospitalist or intensivist team
• Participate in unit float between ICU and PCU patients

Requirements

• Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience
• EPIC electronic health record system proficiency
• At least 1 year of previous travel nurse experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Zoll thermaguard cooling systems and TTM (Targeted Temperature Management)
• Familiarity with titrating standard ICU drips, vasoactive, and sedative medications
• Ability to read and interpret telemetry strips

Schedule

Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, 12‑hour rotation, minimum 36 hours per week.
