Medical Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN ICU – Intensive Care Unit for a travel nursing assignment in Terre Haute, Indiana. Specialty: ICU - Intensive Care Unit; Discipline: RN; Duration: 13 weeks; Hours: 36 hours per week; Shift: 12‑hour days; Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities
- Manage patient care in a 36‑bed ICU unit (utilizing 24 beds).
- Float to stepdown units as needed.
- Maintain patient ratios; typical 1:2, can increase up to 1:30.
- Document care using the Cerner electronic health record system.
- Work 3 weekend shifts per 4‑week schedule (Day shift: Saturday & Sunday; Night shift: Friday‑Saturday).
- Handle common diagnoses including respiratory, trauma, neuro, cardiac, renal, and OB cases.
- Self‑schedule 12‑hour shifts (0700‑1930 or 1900‑0730).
- Provide critical care nursing in accordance with ICU standards.
