About the role
Jackson Nurse Professionals is seeking a travel nurse RN MICU - Medical Intensive Care Unit for a 13-week assignment starting August 3, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for critically ill patients in an intensive care unit setting.
- Assess and document patient conditions.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Requirements
- 2 years of recent experience in Medical Intensive Care Unit (MICU).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Valid license and/or certification in the state of practice.
- Valid driver's license.
- Background check and drug screen required.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.

Pay
The pay package is based on 12-hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
