Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,935 per week

Job Summary

The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is based in the Illinois region, specifically serving a cardiovascular-focused care unit. This role involves managing complex patient cases, including dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, post-cardiac surgery, and ventilator management. The position requires a dedicated professional capable of providing high-level critical care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Location: 2100 PFINGSTEN RD, GLENVIEW, Illinois, 60026
• Schedule: 12-hour days, minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Active Illinois registered nurse license
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale)
• 3 years of CV ICU experience
• Epic electronic medical record experience
• Experience on a cardio-focused campus

Preferred Qualifications

• Charge experience is preferred
• Float rotation possible to Glenbrook MICU, Evanston ICU, or Highland Park ICU if needed

Additional Information

• Holidays: Memorial Day
• Orientation: 8 hours of non-billable orientation
• Interpretation and management of dysrhythmias, intra-aortic balloon pump, Impella, post-cardiac surgery care, pulmonary artery line monitoring, LVAD/RVAD management, CVVHD/CRRT, IV therapy, medication management including continuous infusions, stroke management, ventilator care, infection control, and use of PPE
