Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,904 per week

About the role

A medium-sized hospital in the South metro area of Wisconsin is seeking an ICU RN for its 10-bed unit. The position offers a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio depending on patient acuity, with a 12-hour night shift rotation and 36 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing critical patients under the supervision of a physician
• Monitor vital signs and administer medications as necessary
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Document patient progress and treatments accurately in accordance with hospital policies
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and guidelines

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN)
• Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of Wisconsin
• Current BLS certification
• Experience in an ICU setting preferred

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to handle stressful situations calmly and effectively
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Skills

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
• Knowledge of advanced cardiac life support (ACLS) and pediatric advanced life support (PALS) certifications
