Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,890 per week

Job Summary

An ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is available in a healthcare facility located in Thornton, Colorado. This role involves providing critical care for patients with complex health needs in a fast-paced environment. The position requires flexibility and a patient-centered approach to meet the demanding needs of critically ill patients.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights; 12-hour shifts
• Minimum of 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience
• BLS certification
• ACLS certification
• NIH certification

Preferred Qualifications

• TNCC certification
• Meditech experience

Unit Information

• Newer, expanded unit with 28 beds across two pods
• Staffed with 42 team members
• Cares for neuro surgical, trauma (level III, transitioning to level II), cardiac arrest, respiratory arrest, and all vented patients
• Typical patient ratios vary from 1:1 to 1:3 depending on acuity
• Equipped with advanced technology including Pyxis medication dispensing, GE bedside monitors, and electronic medical records via Meditech
• Recently opened a new ICU expansion
• Experienced staff including intensivists available 24/7
• Preparing for a level II trauma survey this year
• Patient census typically ranges from 100-125 patients
• Staff committed to education and quality care
