Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,889 per week

About the role

The hospital in upstate New York is seeking an experienced ICU traveler to start a 14-week assignment starting as soon as possible. The facility is a total of 132 beds and does not have a trauma designation. The position requires current NY licensure, at least 2 years of experience in Intensive Care, and preference for travel background.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments and develop treatment plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor patients' vital signs and report changes
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
• Document patient care activities accurately and timely
• Participate in ongoing education and skill maintenance

Requirements

• Current NY licensure
• At least 2 years of experience in Intensive Care
• Preference for travel background
• American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Experience in Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays

Pay

Exact pay package may vary based on guaranteed hours, distance being traveled, and customizations available for travelers. The estimated pay package is based on bill rate at the time the job was posted. Bill rates can change frequently and without notice.

Schedule

Shifts are 12 hours, days, and nights, with a 36-hour workweek. There is a 7a-7p/7p-7a full-time day/night shift plus holiday rotation. Additionally, there are 2 off-call shifts per 4 weeks.
