Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,855 per week

The role involves providing intensive care to patients in an ICU setting. Responsibilities include performing nursing assessments, supervising nursing staff, and participating in patient rehabilitation programs.

Responsibilities

• Perform nursing assessments on all patients within 8 hours of admission, forming individualized care plans.
• Identify teaching needs and goals related to each patient's diagnosis through collaboration with patients, families, and the Interdisciplinary team.
• Participate in patient rehabilitation programs and ensure direct patient care, prioritizing patient/family education.
• Initiate discharge planning and patient teaching from the day of admission.
• Communicate changes in patient status to other care providers to maintain continuity of care.
• Provide direction, training, and supervision of ancillary nursing personnel.
• Ensure personal and environmental safety in accordance with hospital policies.
• Contribute to a positive work environment through effective communication and team building.
• Assume charge responsibility as requested following the orientation period.
• Actively pursue professional development through continuing education and self-study.

Requirements

• BLS Certification required prior to first shift.
• ACLS certification required prior to first shift (specific facilities may apply).
• Minimum of two (2) years of bedside clinical experience highly desired.

Schedule

This position requires a night shift schedule of 3x12 hour shifts.

Pay, Benefits & Schedule

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. Benefits include health insurance, dental, vision, life, and more. The schedule is 36 hours per week, 12 hours per shift, nights.
