Travel ICU Registered Nurse - $1,790 per week

Job Summary

An ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is available in Lexington, NC. This role involves providing care for critically ill patients with conditions such as ARDS, sepsis, COPD, DKA, and stroke. The nurse will work in a 16-bed intensive care unit within a teaching system, supporting a diverse patient population with a focus on critical thinking and advanced clinical skills.

Position Description

• Supporting a 16-bed unit with an average daily census of 10 patients, including MICU-type patients, with a RN-to-patient ratio of 2:1.
• Working 12-hour shifts, nights, 36 hours per week.

Required Qualifications

• RN license
• BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications
• 2+ years of ICU experience preferred

Additional Information

• Support within the department includes CNA assistance, patient care duties such as ADLs, transport, and some reception duties.
• The unit features advanced technology including EMR, Alaris IV pumps, GE monitors, and equipment such as Bair Hugger and Verathon Bladder Scanner.
• Orientation is 2 days departmental.

Pay Package

The pay package is based on 12 hour shifts and 36 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
