Travel ICU Float RN - $2,220 per week

About the role

An ICU Float Nurse position is available in a healthcare organization located in the Centennial, Colorado area. This role involves providing specialized intensive care services across multiple ICU settings within Zone 1, including MICU, SICU, TICU, and CVICU, with a focus on critical patient management. The position requires flexibility to float across designated facilities within the zone and deliver high-quality patient care during night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide specialized intensive care services across multiple ICU units (MICU, SICU, TICU, CVICU).
• Manage critical patient care, including titrating critical drips such as pressors, sedation, paralytics, antiarrhythmics, heparin, and insulin.
• Read and interpret telemonitor strips.
• Float within Zone 1 facilities, including Penrose Hospital, St. Francis Medical Center, St. Francis InterQuest, St. Mary Corwin, and St. Thomas More.
• Assist in troubleshooting and managing respiratory needs.

Requirements

• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
• NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) certification.
• Colorado nursing license (or eligibility to submit).
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
• Comfort with floating across multiple facilities within Zone 1.

Preferred: Prior travel nursing experience.

Schedule

• 13-week assignment starting 09/14/2026 and concluding 12/14/2026.
• Night shifts, 12 hours per shift.
• Minimum of 36 hours per week.
