About the role

Travel ICU/CCU Registered Nurse assignment in Rapid City, South Dakota. Start date: November 22, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. Schedule: 12‑hour shifts, 36 hours per week. Employment type: Travel. MedPro Healthcare Staffing (Joint Commission‑certified) is placing a nurse with a top healthcare client.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of adult patients experiencing life‑threatening conditions requiring complex assessment, high‑intensity therapies, and interventions.
• Provide patient care, education, and support to patients’ families.
• Ensure proper functioning of life‑support equipment such as ventilators and feeding tubes.
• Monitor heart rate, blood pressure, and respiration for signs of distress.
• Administer medications, IVs, and insert catheters as needed.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of medication administration.
• Assist in emergency nursing procedures for prompt control of changes in patient condition.
• Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation accurately and effectively.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS and ACLS certification
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care ICU setting
• Additional requirements may be determined by the client facility
