Travel ICU/CCU RN - $2,037 per week

Travel nurse RN ICU position in Moberly, Missouri. Specialty: Intensive Care Unit. Discipline: RN. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 12‑hour nights, 36 hours per week. Employment type: Travel. Responsibilities

• Evaluate and monitor patients in an Intensive Care Unit setting.
• Provide direct care to patients in life‑threatening situations, documenting and delivering physician‑directed care.
• Assess and implement patient care plans, delegating to other care providers as appropriate.
• Provide education and support to patient families, possibly for long‑term care needs.
• Provide basic bedside care.
• Prepare, administer and record prescribed medication; report any adverse reactions.
• Order and evaluate diagnostic tests.
• Take samples for lab work, order corresponding lab work and interpret reports.
• Monitor and adjust specialized equipment; interpret and record electronic displays.
• Ensure proper placement and functioning of catheters, leads and tubing.
• Communicate patients' conditions to family members.

Requirements

• ACLS, BLS, PALS certifications.
• 1 year of recent acute care experience (1‑2 years preferred).
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods; bend, lean and stoop without difficulty.
• Capable of lifting 20 pounds routinely; patient handling may require up to 50 pounds.
• Tolerance for exposure to chemicals or infectious diseases; ability to manage confused, agitated or uncooperative patients.
• Additional certifications may be required before assignment.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 36.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
