About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for a position in Pulaski, Virginia.
Responsibilities
- Assist licensed physical therapists in providing patient care
- Perform therapeutic exercises under supervision
- Administer treatments as directed by a licensed physical therapist
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
Requirements
- Current certification as a Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in home health care setting preferred
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a recognized Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant program
- Passing score on the NCLEX-PN or EPPP
Skills
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Basic computer skills
Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shifts are 8 hours long and occur 5 days per week.
