Travel Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant - $1,676 per week

About the role

Ardor Health Solutions is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapy Assistant for a contract in Brookings, Oregon. The position involves in‑home therapy, with the PTA traveling to patients’ homes throughout the Brookings area to provide individualized physical therapy services under the direction of a supervising Physical Therapist. The initial contract is 13 weeks with an option to extend up to 26 weeks, starting ASAP. Brookings sits along the Southern Oregon Coast near the California border, offering beaches, rugged coastline, forests and outdoor recreation.

Responsibilities

• Providing 1:1 therapy in patients’ homes
• Therapeutic exercise and strengthening
• Gait and balance training
• Transfer and functional mobility training
• Fall‑prevention and home‑safety education
• Assistive device training
• Patient and caregiver education
• Monitoring and documenting patient progress
• Communicating changes in patient status to the supervising PT
• Collaborating with the interdisciplinary Home Health team

Requirements

• Previous in‑home therapy experience preferred
