Travel Home Health Physical Therapist position in Largo, Maryland with Amedisys/BrightSpring Health Services.

About the role

This 13-week travel contract offers a consistent weekday schedule (Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM) and a manageable productivity expectation of 32 units per week. You’ll provide one-on-one care in patients’ homes across Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, focusing on mobility, independence, and quality of life. The role emphasizes autonomy, patient relationships, and direct impact in a home health setting within the Washington, DC metro area.

Responsibilities

• General orthopedic rehabilitation
• Post-surgical recovery
• Balance and fall prevention
• Strengthening and mobility training
• Care for general medical home health patients
• OASIS documentation in Homecare Homebase (HCHB) EMR

Requirements

• Active Maryland PT License
• BLS Certification (must be active prior to start date)
• Home Health experience preferred
• OASIS experience preferred
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work independently in the field
• Reliable transportation for patient visits

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous Home Health experience
• OASIS documentation experience
• HCHB (Homecare Homebase) experience
• Strong independent clinical decision-making and time management skills

Pay

$2,886 per week. Mileage reimbursement available.
