Travel Home Health Physical Therapist - $2,478 per week
About the role
TRS Healthcare is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a 16-week assignment starting on August 2, 2026.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in their home environment
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary
- Document patient progress and treatment sessions accurately
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Alaska
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in Home Health
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE)
Qualifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational and documentation skills
Skills
- Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Knowledge of home health insurance billing processes
