About the role
Aequor Allied is seeking a travel Home Health Physical Therapist for a position in Silver Spring, Maryland.
Responsibilities
- Provide physical therapy services to patients in their home environment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Evaluate patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Document all patient interactions and treatment sessions accurately.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed.
Requirements
- Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Maryland.
- At least one year of recent clinical experience in home health or related field.
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
- Passing score on the National Physical Therapy Examination (NPTE).
Qualifications
- Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Good communication skills to explain treatment plans and progress to patients and caregivers.
Skills
- Proficient in using medical equipment and devices relevant to home health care.
- Knowledge of home health insurance policies and billing procedures.
- Experience with telehealth technologies and remote patient monitoring tools.
Pay
Pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
Schedule
Shift: 8 hours
