PRIDE Health is seeking a travel Home Health Occupational Therapist for a travel job in Hattisburg, Mississippi.Job Description & RequirementsSpecialty: Occupational TherapistDiscipline: TherapyDuration: 13 weeks40 hours per weekShift: 8 hours, daysEmployment Type: TravelOccupational Therapist (OT) – Home Health Location: Hattiesburg, MS Job Type: Travel Contract | 13 Weeks Schedule: Days | 8:00 AM–4:30 PM Guaranteed Hours: 40 hrs/week Patient Visits: Approximately 5–7 visits/day COTA: Work with and supervise 1 part-time COTA Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide therapy services to patients in their homes. The OT will assess patient function, develop individualized care plans, provide treatment, complete clinical documentation, and coordinate care with patients, families, physicians, and the healthcare team.ResponsibilitiesPerform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.Provide occupational therapy interventions in the home according to the plan of care.Complete timely clinical and progress documentation in the EMR.Monitor patient progress and revise treatment plans as needed.Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home safety.Communicate patient changes and concerns to physicians and the care team.Supervise and delegate visits to the COTA according to applicable regulations.Maintain compliance with home health regulations and 30-day reassessment requirements.Manage approximately 5–7 home visits per day.Requirements2 years of OT experience – Required6+ months of Home Health/Home Care experience – RequiredGraduate of an AOTA-accredited Occupational Therapy program with BS, MA, or MS degree.Current Mississippi Occupational Therapist license.Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.BLS certification – RequiredStrong assessment, communication, documentation, and organizational skills.Ability to work independently and travel within a 100-mile radius.Interested?
