About the Role

Travel Home Health Occupational Therapist position with TalentBurst, Inc. in Morganton, North Carolina (ZIP 28655). Start date 10/19/2026, 12‑13 week assignment, 40 hours per week, 8‑hour day shift (08:00‑17:00).

Responsibilities

• Provide home health therapy services, averaging approximately six visits per day.
• Perform assessments, disease teaching, and OASIS documentation.
• Deliver wound care, including wound vac, pleurx line management, and IV therapy.
• Chart patient encounters using Homecare Homebase.
• Utilize Samsung Note 9 phone for documentation and communication.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of occupational therapy experience.
• State OT licensure and BLS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of personal insurance.
• Permanent residence must be at least 50 miles from the home unit.
• Ability to work 75 % of holidays; no weekend rotation or on‑call duties unless requested.

Skills

• Charting experience with Homecare Homebase (required).
• Proficiency in IV therapy, pleurx line care, and wound vac management.
• Strong assessment and patient education abilities.
• Familiarity with chronic disease management.

Schedule

• 8‑hour day shift, 08:00‑17:00, Monday‑Friday.
• 40 hours per week, 12‑13 week assignment.
• No weekend rotation; on‑call only if requested.
• Travelers will work 75 % of holidays.

Pay

Pay package is based on 8‑hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
