About the role
4-week travel assignment as a Histotechnologist in Cleveland, OH. Start date: 08/17/2026. Work setting: clinical histology laboratory.
Responsibilities
- Perform tissue cutting and embedding for downstream histology processing
- Process tissue samples, prepare slides, and conduct microtomy as required
- Stain, mount, and label slides accurately for microscopic examination
- Adhere to quality control, documentation, and turnaround time standards
- Maintain instruments and supplies, monitor reagent levels, and assist with lab housekeeping
- Follow safety, regulatory, and accreditation guidelines relevant to histology operations
Requirements
- HT (ASCP) certified histotechnologist required prior to start
- Experience in a high-volume histology lab
- Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical histology environment
- Focus on accurate labeling, quality control, and timely processing
Pay
Weekly pay: $1,233–$1,313 per week.
Schedule
Monday–Friday, 6:00 am–2:30 pm. Duration: 4 weeks. Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed.
