About the role
American Traveler is seeking a travel Ultrasound Technologist for a 13-week assignment at an acute care Magnet hospital in Alaska, performing general and vascular ultrasound exams.
Responsibilities
- Perform general and vascular ultrasound exams across a diverse patient population.
- Work evening shifts, 5x8 hours, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- May require some on-call and weekend call coverage.
- Block scheduling is available upon request.
- Use Epic EMR system.
- May be required to float between facilities within the state.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in general and vascular ultrasound.
- ARDMS and ARDMS RVT certifications required.
- BLS required.
- Registration as a sonographer in both general and vascular ultrasound required.
- ARDMS credentials in abdomen or OB/GYN and vascular technology preferred.
- Proficiency with Epic EMR required.
- Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted.
- A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration.
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration.
- Licenses required if applicable.

Pay
The pay package is based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week (subject to confirmation).
Schedule
Evening shift, 5x8 hours, 1:30 PM – 10:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
