Travel General Physical Therapist Assistant - $1,650 per week

CoreMedical Group is seeking a travel Outpatient Physical Therapy Assistant for a 13-week assignment in Wasilla, Alaska.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional patient care under the supervision of licensed physical therapists.
• Assist in the preparation and administration of treatments as directed by physical therapists.
• Assist in the setup and maintenance of equipment used in therapy sessions.
• Document patient progress and treatment outcomes accurately.
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a clean and safe environment.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physical Therapy Assistant in the state of Alaska.
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in outpatient physical therapy.
• Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Completion of a recognized Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Passing scores on the National Physical Therapy Exam (NPTE).

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Pay

The pay package is based on 8-hour shifts and 40.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation), with a tax-free stipend amount to be determined. The estimated weekly payment is intended for informational purposes and includes hourly wages, as well as reimbursements for meal & incidental expenses, and housing expenses incurred on behalf of the Company. Any benefits (medical/dental/vision) are in addition to the weekly pay.
