Travel General Diagnostic Medical Sonographer - $2,417 per week

Supplemental Health Care is hiring Medical Sonographers for contract assignments at a partnering hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. This is a 13-week travel contract with possibility to extend, 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts (AM shifts available). Job ID: 1547931.

Qualifications

• Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
• Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
• American Heart Association BLS certification
• 2 years of recent relevant experience

Responsibilities

• Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure quality and diagnostic value
• Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate summaries to physicians/health professionals, and alert them to urgent problems
• Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam
• Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility

Pay

$2,240 – $2,417 per week (estimated weekly payment may include both taxable wages and tax-free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals; speak with a recruiter for details). Compensation depends on various factors including qualifications and experience.
