Travel Float Pool RN - $2,362 per week

Modern Healthcare Solutions is seeking a travel nurse RN Float Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Janesville, Wisconsin.

Responsibilities

• Utilize the nursing process in collaboration with interdisciplinary team members to care for patients.
• Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with approved nursing techniques, policies and procedures, standards of care, and state laws/practice act.
• Document care according to established standards.
• Develop, initiate, and execute individualized patient care plans as prescribed by the physician and/or hospital policy, including patient and family education.
• Participate in department or unit performance improvement activities, which may include shared governance.
• Provide clinical expertise and guidance to other units/departments in support of the patient’s longitudinal plan of care.
• Exhibit critical thinking skills regarding patient safety and experience, and escalate issues to the appropriate chain of command as needed.

Requirements

• Educational verification
• Current Wisconsin nursing license
• NIHSS certification
• CPR/BLS certification
• Flexibility and the ability to float to multiple in-patient units, including Medical, Surgical/Peds, Ortho/Neuro, and Sub-Acute Units

Schedule

• Shift: 12 hours, nights (6:30 PM - 7:00 AM)
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
