Travel First Assist Technician - $2,314 per week
About the role
Travel First Assist Technician position at St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT (84124). Cardiac First Assistant Tech – Vein Harvester unit (80116) with 2.5 CVORs. 13-week assignment starting 11/09/2026, 40 hours per week, day shift 6:00 AM–3:00 PM (0600–1430). On-call requirement: every third weekend and every third weekday, rotating call every third. Floating to Main OR as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform endoscopic vein harvesting using Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro systems
- Provide first assist during open heart procedures
- Support typical procedures: CABG, valve repair/replacement, TAVR, aorta repair (open and endovascular), thoracic surgeries
Requirements
- At least 2 years of independent endoscopic vein harvest experience utilizing Terumo or Maquet 6 Pro
- At least 2 years of open heart first assist experience
- Required certification: CSFA, CFA, or SA-C
