Travel nurse RN Emergency Department position in Potsdam, New York. Start date October 5, 2026, 13‑week assignment, 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts. Employment type: travel with MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified agency.

Responsibilities

Emergency Room registered nurses (RN) provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention and must recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions. Responsibilities include assessing, intervening, and stabilizing trauma and illnesses with decisive action; needing knowledge of general and specific health issues; understanding triage to prioritize injuries by medical need; making quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients’ physical and mental health.

Requirements

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required (depending on position)
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an Acute Care Emergency Room setting
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility

Pay
