MedPro Healthcare Staffing, a Joint Commission‑certified staffing agency, is seeking a Registered Nurse for a travel assignment in the Emergency Department (ED) at a healthcare facility in Hagerstown, Maryland. The position is an RN‑ED role with a start date of October 19, 2026, lasting 13 weeks, requiring 48 hours per week on 6‑hour shifts (days and nights).

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Be knowledgeable about general and specific health issues relevant to emergency care.
• Understand triage to prioritize injuries based on medical need.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC may be required depending on the assignment.
• Minimum eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care emergency room setting.
• Additional requirements may be specified by the client facility.
