About the role
AMN Healthcare Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Yankton, South Dakota.
Responsibilities
- Deliver emergency care in a hospital setting with a supportive, patient-centered culture
- Assess, triage, and treat patients in the emergency room
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Document care using electronic medical record (EMR) systems
Requirements
- Active South Dakota or compact RN license
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Recent experience in emergency room nursing
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse in ER
- ACLS certification
- CERT-TNCC certification
- Work history should not have more than 90 days of gap
- 1 reference in entire work history
Qualifications
- Strong communication skills

- Critical thinking
- Proficiency with EMR systems
- Experience in emergency care (preferred)
Pay
- Pay rate: $2725.00 - $2865.00
Schedule
- 36 hours per week
- 12-hour night shifts
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: 09/14/2026
