MedPro Healthcare Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN for an Emergency Department assignment in Wichita, Kansas. The position starts on October 11, 2026, lasts 13 weeks, requires 48 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts, and is a travel employment type.

Responsibilities

• Provide care for patients with various illnesses or trauma requiring emergency attention.
• Recognize and effectively treat life‑threatening conditions.
• Assess, intervene, and stabilize a variety of trauma and illnesses with decisive action.
• Prioritize injuries based on medical need through proper triage.
• Make quick and accurate assessments of incoming patients, including physical and mental health conditions.

Requirements

• Active RN license.
• Degree from an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC may be required depending on the position.
• Eighteen months of recent experience in an acute care Emergency Room setting.
• Other requirements to be determined by the client facility.

Pay

Pay package is based on 12‑hour shifts and 48.0 hours per week (subject to confirmation) with a tax‑free stipend amount to be determined.
