• Shift: 12 HR Nights

Certifications Required

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
• BLS (Basic Life Support)
• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
• TNCC (Trauma Nursing Core Course)

Skills Required

• Abdominal pain, Acute psychosis, Arterial line management, Asthma, BiPAP/CPAP management, Blood Product Administration
• Care of Ventilated Patient, Central line care/management, Chest tube insertion/management, Continuous IV paralytics, Continuous IV sedation
• CVA (Cerebrovascular Accident), Drug overdose, Emergency Medications, General Emergency Department-Combined Adult/Pedi
• Head injury, Hyperglycemia, Identify/Report neglect or abuse, Infection, Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs)
• Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Intubation, Isolation Precautions/PPE, IV vasopressors, Manage/apply splints
• Management of dysrhythmias, Management of patient with multisystem organ dysfunction/failure, Managing violent behavior
• Obtain 12 lead EKG/ECG, Ortho trauma, Phlebotomy, Procedural Sedation Administration/Monitoring, Psychiatric Hold
• Respiratory infection, Seizures, Starting and maintaining IVs, STEMI Certified Facility, Stroke Certified Facility
• Suicidal patient, Triage, Urinary Tract Infection

Licensure and Compliance

• License in hand required with submittal
• Certification verification needed
• Facility conducts its own mandatory drug screen upon arrival

Working Conditions

• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule (Saturday/Sunday considered weekends)
• One on-call shift per 6-week schedule
• May consider 36 hrs/week, If working 4x12s, the 4th shift might be 12p-12a or 11a-11p
