Responsibilities
- Provide emergency nursing care in the Emergency Department
- Triage and assess patients quickly in urgent situations
- Collaborate with the emergency department team
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Valid Iowa RN or Compact RN license
- At least one year of recent emergency room experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification
- Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Adaptability
- Ability to triage and assess patients quickly in urgent situations
