About the Role
Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN ED - Emergency Department for a travel nursing job in Fairfield, Iowa.
Schedule
- Start Date: 09/06/2026
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Shift: 12 hours, nights (6:00 PM–6:30 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours per week (3 × 12-hour shifts/week)
Requirements
- Current Iowa RN license
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS & TNCC
- Experience: Preferred, but not required
- 2 recent employment references required
Core Duties
- Full patient care using the nursing process
- Patient education
- Supervision/direction of ancillary staff
Compliance Requirements
- Extensive onboarding requirements, including license verification, immunizations, TB screening, physical, drug screen, background checks and mandatory reporter certifications
- Drug Screen: 10-panel within 1 month of start
- Background: All states where the candidate has held a professional license or lived/worked during the past 7 years
- Mandatory Reporter: Iowa Child Abuse & Dependent Adult Abuse certificates required
